Over the last couple of weeks Shannon has shown himself to be totally wild. He has been bring in all sorts of interesting creatures he finds on the way to school. Today he brought in a frog he found at his house. After the class had a good look at it and learnt about the importance of protecting and how to handle them safely, Shannon put the frog in our school pond in the bush graden. We found a lot of tadpoles and frog eggs in the pond so we know it will be happy there. Great job Shannon!
Term 3 Book Character Parade
Term 3 Th@ Space
During Term 3 we did a few activities in Th@ Space to link with our unit on British Colonisation.
In the lego room students looked at, designed and built ships from the First Fleet.
On the tablets we researched information about the first settlers and found out about the sketches they did of Australia’s flora and fauna. We had a go at drawing some of our own pictures.
We also used the tablets to learn how to “Google Like A Boss”. This will help us research information better.

Week 6
Week 5
Our topic this week in Maths has been Data. We have been learning how to collect data and organise it into tables and graphs. On Thursday we got a special surprise for making good choices in the classroom. We were given a bowl of Smarties and asked to collect and graph the amount of each colour. We got to eat the Smarties once our work was completed. Â
